Mesa, AZ, July, 2012: Fred Marks Editor-in-Chief of Who’s Who in the World notified World Martial Arts Black Belt Hall-of-Fame member Soke Hausel that he has been selected for inclusion into their prestigious biographical reference compendium. Earlier this year, Hausel had been elected to Who’s Who in America and inducted into Action Martial Arts Magazine’s Hall of Honor for Outstanding Contributions to Martial Arts as a Grandmaster.
Fred Marks wrote to Hausel, “Congratulations! Based on your outstanding achievements, Marquis Who’s Who has selected you for inclusion in the new 30th Pearl Edition of Who’s Who in the World. This new anniversary edition will feature more than 55,000 of the most accomplished men and women around the world”.
Professor Hausel operates the Arizona School of Traditional Okinawa Martial Arts at 60 W. Baseline Road and has been teaching martial arts for more than 4 decades and a highly sought instructor for clinics around the west. He taught martial arts at four universities prior to opening a public martial arts center on baseline for adults and families. As the head Seiyo Shorin-Ryu Karate Kobudo Kai he has students scattered around the world with many in Arizona, Colorado, Utah and Wyoming. In 1999, he was certified as the grandmaster of the Okinawan martial arts association, and in 2004, was promoted to Judan (10th degree black belt).
