At the Arizona School of Traditional Okinawan Martial Arts, we are focused on providing martial arts training with the highest level of expertise. This is the home of Soke Hausel, world head of Seiyo No Shorin-Ryu Karate Kobudo Kai and 16-time hall-of-fame inductee including Instructor of the Year, International Instructor of the Year and Grandmaster of the Year. His students testify to his high-quality of instruction.
We have a comfortable peanut gallery in our dojo, so don't be a stranger and feel free to stop in to watch a class.
Soke Hausel, Grandmaster of Seiyo No Shorin-Ryu Karate Kobudo Kai and operator of the Arizona School of Traditional Okinawa Martial Arts on Baseline Road, Mesa - Gilbert. His students include productive individuals including many PhDs, engineers, scientists, social scientists, doctors, lawyers, priests and more. Prior to opening the Arizona Hombu, Soke taught martial arts at four major universities including ASU, U of U, UNM and for 3 decades at UW and was inducted into 16 different Halls-of-Fame for martial arts instruction, scientific achievements, and communication.
Soke has black belt ranks and certifications in several martial arts and is a world class martial artist. His is students learn a variety of arts with a core of Shorin-Ryu Karate & Kobudo.
